Multi- Monitor calibration

Step-by-Step Guide to Fixing Touch Display Issues and Calibrating Multi-Monitor Setups

Identifying the Touch Screen in Multi-Monitor Setups

  1. Open Control Panel:
    • Press the Windows key and type “Control Panel,” then press Enter.
  2. Access Tablet PC Settings:
    • Under “Tablet PC Settings,” click on “Setup for pen or touch input.”

Setup Button:

  • The Setup button is used to identify which screen is touch-enabled when you have multiple monitors connected. This is particularly useful if you have a multi-monitor setup and need to specify which monitor should respond to touch input.
  • When you click the Setup button, you will be prompted to touch the screen that you want to configure as the touch screen. This helps Windows recognize the correct display for touch input.

    • Select “Touch input” when prompted.

  • Follow the on-screen instructions, which will involve tapping crosshairs on the screen to ensure accurate touch response.

Calibrate Button:

  • The Calibrate button is used to fine-tune the touch input accuracy on your touch screen. This process involves touching specific points on the screen to ensure that the touch input aligns correctly with the display.
  • Calibration is necessary if you notice that the touch input is not accurately responding to your touches, such as when the touch points are slightly off from where you actually touch the screen.

4. Save the Calibration Data:

  • After completing the calibration, save the data when prompted.
